This might be the most intense video against the use of recreational party drugs that you’ll ever see. An Australian man, Jordy Hurdes, posted a video Monday of himself warning against the use of the drug ecstasy, after being hospitalised from a bad dose, severely stuttering as he explains his situation.
Thank you so much for the love and support from everyone. I honestly can not believe how much the post has gone viral. Please share this video. The more that can see this. The more lives can be saved

“The party scene is big in Australia, and so is ecstasy,” says Hurdes in the video. “This isn’t for sympathy. This is for awareness. It’s played a huge part of my life, for a lot of people — my family, as well as my friends.”
Hurdes last Saturday posted photos of himself in hospital on Facebook, where he revealed he was in for a few days. “I myself am lucky to be alive now, I now have the possibility of a permanent stutter and twitch due to nerve or brain damage,” said Hurdes on the post, who also revealed his “exhaustion” from constant muscle spasms in the video.
“Please don’t do it. It’s not worth it,” Hurdes begs at the end of his video, which has since been viewed more than a 1.1 million times on Facebook.
According to 7 News, doctors say it’s too early to know if his symptoms are a result of nerve or brain damage, and that his parents hope to have him booked into rehab by Christmas.
