This was her first, self-taught, stop motion animation video.
And in just two years, it became so much more.
“I put a lot of love and time into each piece with the main reward being the smiles that await,” Ryle said. “There have been many exhausting nights that I’ve stayed up until 4 a.m. filming. The fuel that keeps me going is knowing the joy it will bring to people’s day the next morning when I post it. I think my followers see that in my work and are inspired by my commitment to my craft.”
She told us a little about the process that accompanies each carefully-planned video.
Once I have my concept, I begin the process of illustrating and animating,” Ryle said. “On average, each animation takes 15 to 20 hours from the beginning concept to final editing.”
Though Instagram is her current platform of choice, she envisions her art extending beyond the smartphone space.
“I do have some personal goals which will involve sharing my animations on a much bigger screen,” Ryle said. “Until that day comes, I will keep creating as I have been for the simple satisfaction of bringing joy to my followers.”
